By special request from JN, who couldn’t believe that anyone would store 4-5 pairs of shoes under their desk at work.
I present to you my office footwear collection…

Plus a pair of black heels that i was wearing.
Nothing fancy here. Obviously, comfort and functionality are key to me!

A solution for Monday blues: Knocking off work on-time, going for ramen dinner followed by a spot of shopping with SW.
Now, to show off my loot for the day, hehe!

(L-R): Earrings from Mintmark at 15% off, free Majolica Majorca handphone strap, Majolica Majorca Jeweling Eyes palette in pretty purple shades!

Is it just me, or does anyone else find this Facebook ad funny:

No, seriously, why are her armpits giving out starbursts?! Sometimes people really do come up with the strangest ads. People, artistic license only gives you *so much* leeway!

Ans: Many many many!
VS is my weakness, and this i couldn’t resist:

Once ST showed it to me, there was no turning back.
So cute! Shall wear it during Christmas!

Remember Geocities? Angelfire? Tripod? gURLpages?
Back then, animated GIF page dividers were the bomb, and we had guestbooks and webrings! That’s some seriously retro stuff. If you remember, it just means that you’re kinda sorta old… kinda sorta like me.
I recall sitting in our secondary school computer lab, some 13 years ago, with AN. We selected which “city” to be based in (was it SoHo? or SunsetStrip?), and then went about eagerly created our very first webpage called… wait for it… ChocPuddz (don’t ask)! We decorated it with all manner of neon-coloured blink-bling-animated graphics, and we couldn’t have been prouder of it, haha.
Kudos to GeoCities for the big part they played in the history of the Internet. For those who’d like to revisit a slice of that history, you can head down to Reocities, where some good folks are trying to salvage the early webpages from being deleted forever.

A Sorta Fairytale by Tori Amos:
This woman is absolutely stunning in her live concerts.

In a recent Drugstore spree, one of the blushers broke during shipment, covering all the items inside the parcel with pink powder. I cleared out all the items from the box this morning, then chucked the box aside.
Ten minutes later, a pink-colored cat strolls up to my side:

Apparently, she thought it would be fun to squeeze herself into the box and roll around for a bit.
Flopping onto the floor and acting all cute and innocent:

All the flopping about didn’t save her from The Dreaded Shower. Another ten minutes later, she was back to beingĀ justwhite & black.

This is the game we’re currently addicted to:

Planting, harvesting, hoeing, watering, planting, harvesting, hoeing, watering…
Desperately trying to move up the levels so that i can earn more money to buy the bigger ticket decoration items for my farm. Playfish’s graphics are too pretty to resist. Just reached Level 20 today and finally got my lamb:

The lamb is super cute lah, here it is enjoying the brushing:

While the Cat is away, i’m going all out to catch up with her:

Almost there!
Playfish is really good at what they do. The way they’ve integrated their games into Facebook and planned out the game mechanics makes the game very interactive, and the graphics are just amazing.

Eating my nonya kueh and sipping teh-o… and feeling very ‘auntie’ about it.
I spent a good deal of time quizzing the poor Bengawan Solo girl on what each of the colorful kuehs contained. The moment she mentioned that this one (that i’m currently eating) has gula melaka in it, my mind was immediately made up. Can never resist gula melaka, yum!
